Engineering

The engineering strand of S.T.I.R. Robotics course allows students to gain an understanding of the engineering process,technical drawing and journaling as it relates to robotics.

  • Students learn to work as a member of a team

  • Students gain an understanding of robotics,its history,applications and evolution

  • Students build,program,and configure robots to perform predefined tasks

  • Students will practice solving problems using critical thinking skills, creativity, and innovation.

  • Students learn a variety of productivity and modeling software

  • Students may earn a place to compete in VEX IQ ,Technology Student Association(TSA) ,SECME ,or SeaPerch competitions
